Overwhelmed by Election vibes?

Hello Beautiful Souls,

I know many of you may feel the weight of the election season. It's common to experience anxiety, mood swings, or even mild depression around this time. The energy in the world can feel intense and overwhelming, affecting us more deeply than we may realize. If you're beginning to feel drained or emotionally overwhelmed, let’s take a moment to center ourselves, recharge, and find peace within.

Try this meditation to help you rebalance your energy, find relaxation, and gain clarity.

Meditation for Balance and Clarity

1. Set the Space

  • Crystals: Gather grounding and calming crystals such as amethyst, rose quartz, or black tourmaline. Hold them in your hands or place them around you.

  • Essential Oils: Use lavender or frankincense essential oil to promote calm and clarity. Add a few drops to a diffuser, or place a dab on your wrists and inhale deeply.

  • Herbs: Light a small amount of sage, rosemary, or palo santo to clear your space and remove any negative energy.

2. Begin the Meditation

  1. Find a Comfortable Position: Sit or lie down in a quiet space. Close your eyes, and take a few deep breaths, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

  2. Visualize and Ground: Picture a warm, golden light surrounding you. Imagine it gently flowing down from above, filling your body and grounding you to the earth. Let this light feel supportive and protective.

  3. Breathwork: Slowly inhale for a count of four, hold for four, and then exhale for a count of six. Repeat this cycle, feeling any tension release with each exhale.

  4. Repeat a Calming Mantra: Silently or aloud, repeat a phrase like, “I feel calm, I feel centered, I feel grounded.”

3. Intention-Setting and Release Ritual

  • Write It Out: On a piece of paper, write down any worries, fears, or heavy thoughts that come up during this meditation. When you feel ready, release them by safely burning the paper, visualizing the energy leaving your mind and body.

  • Affirmations: After releasing, place your hands over your heart and affirm, “I feel filled with peace and clarity. I release what no longer serves me and welcome calm and strength.”

4. Close the Meditation

  • Slowly bring awareness back to your body, taking a few deep breaths. Thank yourself for taking this time, and place your crystals in your space as a reminder of your inner calm.
